1 prepared pie crust
4 cup fat free frozen yogurt, vanilla, chocolate, or a combination, softened
2 large egg white
1⁄8 tsp cream of tartar
1⁄4 cup white sugar
1⁄4 tsp vanilla extract

- Add frozen yogurt to the pie crust, spread out in an even layer, and smooth the top. Freeze for 1 hour or until the yogurt is completely firm.
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
- Place egg whites in a large glass or metal bowl and whip with an electric mixer until frothy. Add cream of tartar and continue whipping until soft peaks form. With the mixer on, gradually sprinkle in sugar and continue whipping until glossy, stiff peaks form. Mix in vanilla extract. Immediately spread meringue over the frozen pie, making sure it covers the entire top and seals the edges at the crust to prevent it from shrinking. If desired, decorate the top using the back of a spoon to make peaks. Put the pie on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 3 to 5 minutes or until the meringue is lightly browned. Cut into 10 slices and serve immediately.
